There are different types of leadership styles, and leaders can work with any of the different styles, and do not have to be just one style.  The desire to lead is a significant component in leadership.  There are many different personalities you work with, so leaders can adapt to the different leadership styles.

GenAI can be very helpful in innovation and keeping up with progression, especially when you cannot stop students from using it.  It is best to understand how it works so you can show them how to use it properly and more efficiently.  The con to using GenAI is how it affects our environment in an already deteriorating climate.

My role in the institution is working directly in the accommodations process, the information provided aligns with the work I currently do.  I believe it is important for all members of an institution to understand the process of accommodations and working with students with disabilities, and who they can refer students to.  As mentioned in the course, "As a representative of the school, your actions reflect on their success in meeting the legal mandates."

For requesting assistance with accommodations, yes it may be less confusing to have a specific department or point of contact to initiate requests.  However, each member of an institution may bear responsibility for carrying out the commitment to access in their own area of operation.  An institution is responsible for providing equal access through the accommodation process.

The goal for accommodations is providing equal access to opportunity, and to ensure that students have access to all the information and/or services they need. What students do with that information or those services is up to them.  That is the objective as an ADA coordinator.

Students with disabilities have the right to equal access to educational opportunities, and are also still held accountable for any  disruptive actions or behaviors in the post secondary setting.  "The presence of disability may explain why they engaged in such behavior, but it does not excuse it."

I learned that along the way, you can reassess goals, re-evaluate and change goals to help them be more attainable.  Once goals are attained, you can debrief and figure out what worked and what didn't and come up with best practices and areas for improvement.

Using peak times for critical thinking work, and valleys for digital decluttering and routine work can help with time management.  Also, it is important to set goals and prioritize them.  Logging in long hours or continuously doing busy work does not equal productivity.

In having difficult conversations and working through conflict, it is important to find common ground, see the other person's perspective, and finding resolutions that can work for both of you.  Also, you can work to repair relationships after conflict through resetting the tone with small gestures.

Finding purpose in your work and having connectedness at work can build your resilience, which helps with managing stress over time.
