I was always confused about the word "stakeholders" in an academic institution.  But this helpled clear that confusion up and actually influences how I'll be assessing and evaluating my course. 

I really love the idea of the self-assessment and self-assessment rubric.  It really puts the student in the driver seat of their own academic success an self-improvement. 

I like the idea of building an online community.  I think what was made clear to me is that it must have a purpose and create a sense of belonging to the student. 

I really like the idea of the learning objects database as a way to store content for the course that has been created and available for use as another instructor sees fit.
