Time management and pre-assessing your students' knowledge level are both very important to lesson planning and keeping the students engaged.

Proper Preparation prevents poor performance. That has really stuck with me. Not just using a syllabus or lesson plan but also a checklist to make sure you are as prepared as possible.

This course really got me to thinking back on my college experience. Which professors that I generally got along with, and which ones I didn't. And has made me realize that the ones that I liked had always shown the professionally that was taught during this course. Including the being early, prepared, and enthusiastic about the material much like the professor mentioned in the video.
