this is one of the most important parts of educating the student. most don't understand the process and don't realize how important first interview is. be early be dressed appropriately have a reference cheat sheet talk with sincere voice control be prepared to give examples be prepared to do demostrations when the students returns help him feel good about himself if he gets the job celebrate if not try to find out why and help him interview better give encouragement let the student practice on you.

Our school has several differant times during the year when we address employment. We also keep track of all students who graduate and read Emails about thier sucess in getting a job. This really changes some students drive to want to finish all thier classes and in some cases they even want to do much better .

can we all be on the same page if a student needs certian attention isnt it our job as a company to acomadate them if they have the right paper work that has followed them from elementry to middle ,high school you as a instructor can not make up your own mind on what to do stick with the guide lines of the company.

I find that working along side the student in class or lab helps the student throught there struggles with certian tasks seeing the instructor go throught the actruall labror that the task calls for is more motivating then him just talking about it.

for some reason the student these days want more respect then knowlege.should we as instrutors give them what they want or what they need an what is that?

what do you mentor when parents want the student to go studie at a college rather than a technical school.

being a master at your trade teach what you know sub in classes your qualified to teach.

here at uti we have a system the holds the student liable for there actions that affects there class grades.

Let them do it there way to see whats like they say the easyer way of doing the task?they need to find out the hard way before they take the instructors advise now can we try do it the way its done in the industry.

I find ways to cope with my stress is to coach soft ball on my own time and teach an other skill to kids that are having fun doing what is fun for them is fun for me. its good stress to see your team compete on there level of play.
