It's interesting to see how students accept information in different ways. While lecturing about a particular topic it's easy too see which students don't get it. That's the time to show photos or look at a book. In the end, I always show them on a training aid and everyone will finally understand.

Every time I take one of these courses I learn some valubale information that I can use to become a better instructor. That will help to give the student a much better experienc.

For me, motivating a student is an important part of the learning process as I want to completely involve the student in the material I'm trying to present to him/her by showing them that I'm equally motivated and excited to teach them. I try to show them how their learning might affect their future. If I can pass on some of my enthusiasm to my students then their learning experience will be a positive one.
So many things can affect student learning such as cultural diversity, physical disabilities and learning capabilities. I think it's very important to provide a safe and relaxed learning environment to ensure all types of learners feel comfortable and are ready and eager to begin their learning experience.

I have noticed that if students do not see the instructor excited about the material being presented to them that they will not have a motivation for learning and will quickly become disinterested in the class.

Developing a good rapport with your student is important for a good student to teacher relationship. This will give those students a great learning environment for a better learning experience.

When students enter the classroom for the first time, it's important to greet them and make them feel welcome. It's equally imortant for us as instructors to create an environment where they feel welcome when entering the classroom everyday.

With such a diverse range of students in the classroom, sometimes it is difficult to understand an individual student's needs. It does take some time to get to know them and understand what they may need to be successful. But in time, assuming the student is willing to respond, those needs can be addressed on an individual basis

I have learned that that first day can make you or break you in the eyes and mind of the student. If you can't be prepared that first day, how can the student feel that you are able to teach them successfully? First impressions are very important in anything you do especially in front of a room full of people that are ready to learn something from you. You don't want them to learn that you are unprepared or unorganized.
