This really helped with understanding new/upcoming changes.  A short guide/phamplet would be hepful as well.

This is my favorite part of teaching, I feel that a huge portion of me being a teacher/Life Coach is constantly collecting new classroom activites to foster learning. Students love this, :-D especially if it's related to the material, their class and if they see it will help them excell in their future career. One of my favorites in Psychology class is to provide a quick workshop on Personality Inventories, split the class into four main categories and provide discussion questions like: What style do I best get along with, most struggle with? What can I do to better relate… >>>

Thanks :)

Great post.  However, makes me ponder how to think of new strategies in teaching, so information is not just reproduced and forgotten.  Not sure how to do that, but I agree with most above that I learned 80% on the job.  Gives me a challenge that I tend to focus a lot on lecture.  Hope I can continue to mix things up a bit, mingling lecture with lively discussion in the midst, then switch to group work and creative projects.

Good blog on how to improve as a communicator!

So, what are the best test construction methods (i.e. a mixture of multiple choice, true false and essay, or majoring on one area)? Also, is there a preferred order? (i.e. T/F first??)
