As a professional who also suffers from an anxiety disorder and PTSD, even minor stressors can send me spiraling.  Having a good support network and access to healthcare is huge, but in the smaller day-to-day scenarios sometimes it is important to know when to step away for five to ten minutes to just clear your mind and focus on your breathing.  This technique has helped me avoid panic attacks and lower blood pressure.
