I have learned that it is ok to change from your usual way of teaching by trying new approaches and incorporating new challenges , games, and activities that require less teacher and more student collaboration into the learning process.

Prepare to help students who may have experienced trauma and need help, guidance to resources , etc. However, take care of yourself as well . Take time to get adequate sleep/nap, engage in hobbies and spend time with loved ones or friends outside of working all of the time.

I have learned the importance of following rules, establishing and maintaining boundaries and to exemplify professionalism as a teacher.

I learned more about the history of CTE , and the changes brought about to make CTE what it is today.
