I've learned that I have to present myself in a professional manner as well as being approachable to every type of student. I have to establish my role without promoting a do it this way and this way only approach. I plan to provide an atmosphere where everyone feels like they are really getting more than attending class, taking notes and taking a test. I learned that if I want to get the max potential out of my students I need to display a highly motivated attitude and dedication to my role.
