Staying engaged can alert to changes in student behaviors and reveal diengagement. It is important to support the student in the virtual environemt to promote retention. 

Group size influences interactions in both asynchronous and synchrounous environments.  How you ( and students) participate and interact varies on the type of delivery

Creating one on one relationships with students helps support the online learning evironment. This goal is to build trust which fosters a safe learning environment. 

Familiarize myself with the management system, course setup up and how to interact with the students.  Being able to interact and communicate is essential for a successful course. 

Learned that using social networking and platforms can meet course learning outcomes. The goal is to be mindful of the use as these are typcially public.
