Instructors can support student retention and success by understanding each student’s motivations, challenges, learning styles, and backgrounds. Age and cultural factors may influence motivation, so teaching should be fair, consistent, and tailored to individual learning needs to ensure all students feel supported.

It is important to error on the side of caution.  With the online learning enviornment being present even more, education on FERPA is important.  

Students cannot demand immediate access to their educational record.  The educational institute has 45 days to produce the requested records.
