The importance of learning their names and something about them/goals will go a long way. Letting the students know how they can reach you and being available to answer any questions about the course.
Having a checklist will help ensure you didn't forget anything/have time to make corrections. Having a thorough syllabus is important as it will guide the student through the semester/year. Preparation and planning ahead is very important for not only the instructor but student as well.
This module was a great reminder on professionalism, instructing effectively, and efficiently. It is important to set expectations and have goals. Having passion for your subject and what you are teaching will show to your students.
