As a new teacher I'm going to strive to incorporate more facilitator roles in my classroom. I was taught more in line with the scholar 'sage on a stage' mentality and although I have more experience with mentoring students one on one, I struggle with embodying the facilitator role for large groups of students. Working on more engaging lessons and less lectures is a struggle with trying to meet the objectives within the timeline and also encourage self accountability for the adult students with their own learning.

Learned a lot, ready to implement some of the tips that were suggested.

Since games are low stakes you might just be assessing low stakes effort, there are some drawbacks with the analysis of data gathered in this way.

It seems very labor intensive to create your own digital game, although I'm curious about it and glad that resources were provided for the ability to do so.

I already knew about this aspect of gaming and it's a very helpful tool to build community spirit.

Gamifying learning is a great tool, however it does have its challenges to make it optimal for student engagement and maximum retention of content material.
