About me

I'm a former  Auto Shop owner turned Auto Shop Instructor who has had the fortune to instruct special needs students for 12 years. This experience encouraged me to transfer and develop skills in the education field and make a significant career change after many years. Currently my responsibilities include developing staff members for classroom excellence at a Post-Secondary school and staff development.

A most recent accomplishment is the completion of Bachelors of Arts in Human Performance Management and Organizational Development  at Immaculata University. I hope this encourages my kids to complete an education program and never stop learning. The work in these classes has greatly increased my ability to perform my job through reflection and change. As we get older we can get better.  Peace.

Good Afternoon, our managers are becoming discouraged with the finals associated to the ML courses. The finals are difficult to align with the course material and are very challenging to complete. We are beginning to discuss the format in hopes of resolving the disconnect. Is anyone already doing this and would you like to share your best practices? Thanks

The Pygmalion theory hit the nail on the head. So many times instructors predetermine the student performance without giving them a chance. The belief of what others adn yourself can do is a powerful tool when managed properly. As a manager this is a theory that requires constant attention.
