Teachers need to be provided training on new technology.  There's nothing worse than frustrated students and not being able to help them.

Having good EQ will help you pick up on when something is wrong with the students.

Go with my gut and use common sense.

Extrinsic motivators want a tangible reward for their efforts.

If a student is struggling to answer a question, help them out.  Never embarrass a student.  Even if the answer isn't quite right, find a positive in their contribution to the discussion.

Get to know your students so you can connect and identify if they're struggling.

Allow students a chance to tell a story, but don't let it throw off your entire lesson plan for the day.

Take a few minutes and engage with your students about random topics.  It's okay to have fun and still get the material covered.

Framing my lecture around experiences my students can relate to will be most beneficial. 

Be confident in yourself and your knowledge.  Your ability to develop your own way of presenting it will unfold on its own.
