I hadn't had my advisory committee assess my assessments in the past, but it is a practice I will now add.

Really, this lesson helped me look at how I am assessing my students and I have already started using more formative assessing that enables me to give my students more feedback along the way. Aligning is something I feel I do well, but I did need to use more formative assessments along the way.

I learned that backwards design will more effectively help me plan lessons and formative assessments to inform my instruction and ready my students for summatives.
