Corynne, that is great awareness and it sounds like you have a great plan to practice your body language. Great job. Dr. Jean Norris

If you're like a lot of schools/colleges out there, admissions performance metrics have taken a back seat to a hyper focus on compliance.  Just curious how your organization is improving typical admissions metrics and enrollment results while staying compliant?  Is it possible?

Mark, thanks for sharing this. It sounds like you do your best to make sure you are understanding what others are trying to say while looking at your communication from the recipients' perspective. This will help ensure that the correct message has been received. Dr. Jean Norris
Paula, interesting point. Body language can give us some insight to what is really going on with our students so it's important that we not only listen to what is being said, but "listen" with our eyes as well. You give a great example here. Good job. Dr. Jean Norris
Tiffany, absolutely. Allowing the student to talk about themselves can open up topics of discussion and help your branch off into other topics about the program or different things going on at the school. Dr. Jean Norris
Tiffany, sure. So tell me more about what your plan is to create value on the phone. Dr. Jean Norris
Tiffany, this is a critical piece. It sounds like you like to communicate with all departments and this helps the student feel like they are involved in a seamless process and in turn, they are more likely to feel cared about. Dr. Jean Norris
Thanks for sharing your experience here Juan. It sounds like you have situations where you use more leadership techniques versus management techniques. Please keep us posted on your progress. Dr. Jean Norris
Great insight here James. It sounds like you have a good handle on your personality. So now that you have this awareness, is there anything that you plan to do differently? Dr. Jean Norris
