I would like advice on how to keep the students engaged on the topic at hand while lecturing. At times I feel my self lecturing and the only person participating is me. Please help on ways to keep the material fresh and interesting.

New Instructor

This is great, I am glad that you are enjoying this new job. It comes with great responsibility and the fact that you enjoy it is a plus. It is a good thing when people wake up and enjoy going to work, it sounds like you have passion for it. You are to be commended for getting past your fear of standing in front of any group. Learning!

This information is very beneficial to me, I am well aware now that we should not discuss financial information with the students. It is never my intent to mislead anyone especially my students. I now know that just in plain conversation you can give information that may be out of your boundaries as an instructor. Great info I look forward to more.
