Training and organizational learning is ongoing. Even after the training period it is important to continue to attend meetings and organization training sessions as well as stay up to date on the latest rules and policies. The more informed we are the better we can assist students!

I learned that knowledge of offered programs doesn't just begin and end with the school catalog. By using all resources, sitting in on classes first-hand, and speaking with personnel from all departments, I can gain a better understanding of what the student will experience while attending and therefore can give great insight on what they will be provided. 

It is important to be very thorough when understanding and discussing the requirements for completing the various forms of paperwork for admissions,especially the enrollment agreement. It is also just as important to be able to answer a prospective student's questions regarding tuition asssitance and when to properly refer applications to FA. It is best to be very familiar with all resources in order to assist and inform students to the best of our ability regarding the enrollment process. 

As a admissions rep, it is vital to stay up to date on all rules, regulations, and policies; so, it is best to keep all documents organized and readily available for reference in order to best assist students. It is also best to spread learning over a few days, so all lessons are understood and absorbed fully.
