Activity

In order to do something well, there is a learning curve. One must go through the process of doing something poorly and be vulnerable. 

The Harvard example was great for dealing with the "expert". It's not enough to simply understand the concept but you must be able to articulate the concept in such a ways that others can understand it. 

There were some good tidbits of information in this section. never thought about ambiguous behavior is always seen as negative.  There were several good tips about classroom management. 

Loved the reminder of greeting your students before class starts--get to know them by name--be involved. It sets a professional tone. 

I was reminded to bring positive energy into the classroom and the importance of setting a professional tone.
