I agree with everyone. Take the student into consideration when organizing your teaching strategies. Set your class goals and have your material ready in a week in advance for the students to complete. 

Yes you must becareful how you communicate using technology. Students can not see fascial cues and they could take what your saying in an entirly different manner in which you intended. 

Students need feedback. Student and teacher communication is vital so the teacher knows their teaching strategies are working or not. Change to one's teaching might happen from student and teacher communication.  

You must really break down what your course content will be and how and what your teaching style/tools that you would use to best offer student obtainment.
