Keeping your students engaged throughout the class and asking follow up questions will help them retain the information being presented. 

Every student is unique in there own way. They also have certain learning styles which is important for instructors to learn and adjust so that all the students can get what they need to be successful in the class. 

Encourage students, keep them engaged, and make sure you are proving a welcoming environment. 

Every student has specific needs and learning styles. Its important for me, as an instructor, to understand those needs and try to tech the lesson according to their style of learning so that they can better retain the information being presented.

We focused on student engagement and learning outcomes of the students. 

There is more than just grading. Focus on what they actually learned and not what they did not learn. 

Distance education has been around for years. Gradually developing new ways to teach information to our students 

Remind students how to navigate the system. Have them email you with any questions or concerns 

Its important to keep the student engaged in the lesson. Ask questions that support the lesson. 

Distance learning insturctors need to actively follow up with students daily to ensure they are succesful in class.
