A lot of this information was just a recap for me but it was definitely helpful to review.

The information about how to help students remember vocabulary information was very helpful and something I will utilize in my classroom more.

Assigning work groups is tough in my program where our class sizes average about 6 students per class. They usually partner up for some activities but otherwise they are working as a collective. 

I learned that utilizing active listening skills, multiple ways of presenting information (analogies, stories, etc.), tone, and movement are all beneficial to effective teaching.
