This gave me insight into the drama I went through to get my academic records from one institution recently.  I do think they may have violated my rights - I did eventually get what I needed however.

Motivation and reward go hand in hand.  If the student feels they are sucessful, it is a huge step to their success.

Students tend to loose focus, maybe around mid-term.  It is important to recapture their energy.

I llike the sandwich idea of learn....apply.....learn....apply.  I want to be successful at this.

I remember when I first atarted nursing school, if the environment of the classroom was off - I did not learn the entire day.  I hope to not have my students get upset by things that I should be able to easily control.

I am very excited to teach using case studies.  I feel that is a way to show my clinical competence and expertise, as well as to get some excitement generated in my class.

I am someone worried about the idea of a cohort treating me as an outsider.   I want them to have confidence that I am there to help them meet their goals.

I personally like to develop checklists.  I am becoming more and more organized as I get older.

I am a brand new instructor that is transitioning from a prior leadership role.  I do want to develop a learning plan for myself to support my students.
