Communication is one of the most difficult attributes to learn and be effective at, and by being a good communicator and learning how to talk, listen and engage with your employers, coworkers or employees you will be successful in the workplace. 

Having strong interview skills is really important when searching for a job. The way you behave, express and conduct yourself in the interview is a key reason as to whether the employer hires you or not. By doing mock interviews, you can teach and help deconstruct the importance of body language, eye contact, and communication to the students before they do actual interviews to help relieve some of that stress they may have. 

How beneficial a strong cover letter can be. A good clear cover letter outlines the resume and your qualifications in a business format and most employers will take strongly to that.

Most people are only in a job spot for the money, but they do not enjoy what they do. Students looking for a job should shadow an employee and see how well the job fits them first before accepting and google the employer beforehand to read the mission statement or bio about the company to see if their core values/beliefs align to you, because you should love what you do and not just be in it for the money.
