It seems to me that both types of conversations have grat value in an online setting.  I delight in the idea that a quiet face to face student will find ther voice in an online forum, as competition to speak is minimized.  I will further explore placing discussion boards in my classes online.

Just as in facte to face classroom settings establishin relationships with our students can help ease the stress of an online setting.  Additionally, as we build componenets of the course, we need to recognize all possibilities such as learning styles, geographic location, etc. before making asumptions.

Online learning takes time to prepare a quality resource.  So many things to make sure are in place to provide and enhance student learning.  I am taking this course because our school was "thrown" into remote learning due to the Covid-19 crisis.  Having to create a fluid online class within 3 days without training is very intimidating.  Hoping to gain insight from these modules.
