It is critical to learn as much as possible about the school and what it has to offer. This ranges from the specifics of the programs and classes it offers to student services, such as academic assistance, housing, orientation, etc.
I learned that the best way to prepare for an admission interview is to have a checklist prepared beforehand with questions to ask the prospective student. These are questions to ensure that prospective student meets the enrollment requirements and also an easy way for me to check off and keep track that they do meet each requirement.
I have learned that this is a required course that is necessary to be completed before beginning this role, and it is also important to keep up with ongoing policy and regulation changes. A key aspect of understanding these regulations and getting the most out of this training is staying organized and having a strong understanding with the relevant documents, terms, and definitions provided in this module.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
