Yes! I do agree that spell check has made us lazy. Nobody uses a dictionary anymore or even tries to learn how to correct their spelling. Its always whats quicker. Looking anything up is now done on the internet and books are becoming obsolete. Now don't get me wrong I agree with technology in general but sometimes i do believe it makes us lazy. We need a balance to keep us grounded in whats important it's not always whats the quickest way to get things done but what the proper way.

Delegating and understanding are important in delegating work i have also read it helps to "write down what was agreed to and have it SIGNED by both the boss and the delegate" to make sure what is need to know is known. Delegation is also good in showing your employe that you trust them with more.

I believe all the text slang has made it more difficult for people to write properly. It also makes it more difficult to understand if you don't use slang often.

I know this from experience. When I was a personnel officer in my unit my commander told me to set-up a chain of command since we were a new unit and needed it. I took it into my hands to do it and e-mail everyone about it because I thought thats what my commander wanted. I was wrong but luckily my commander was cool about it but I did learn from my mistake. This assignment shows know your boss and who your working with. Don't beat yourself up if you do make mistakes but learn from them.
