beyond the fact all people are different, depending on circumstances/situations, feedback and asking open-ended questions could help the supervisor see a different perspective with insightful help.

Make the time to preplan, then after editing, practice, edit, practice, practice, practice. This is your presentation you should know your content enough to talk about it in a conversational way. Practice till you can do such.

One of the things learned was how people see and feel about company communications.  One of the 7 deadly sins of writing is "Credibility Killers." Sending communications (anything published, written, email, memo, etc.) with misspellings, improper grammer, punctuation errors, and inconsistent formating just speaks volumes to your readers.  Have someone proofread your written work before sending out to where the public may critic your company.
