It is important to have an understanding of how each of your e-learners understands the course material. Not every student learns the same way. This is very important to understand. 

I feel getting to know your e-learning it is important to know a little about each student that will be taking your course. Having a bio of yourself makes it a little more personal and I feel students enjoy having an instructor that can be engaged in their students' interests. 

As of now, I have learned that you must be very familiar with the online teaching techniques to fully be able to address any issues that students may have. I also learned that not all teachers will teach the same online. I feel if you are familiar with technology it will be easier for those instructors to be engaged with their students.
