I do the best I can to represent and advocate for LAFS in a positive light. Being strategic and efficient is key to success in our department and the school at large. I strive to create diverse and functional team environments where each member feels heard and has the creative boundaries to excel in their strengths, and safe to grow in their weaknesses.
Activity
While extrinsic motivation can be helpful in the classroom, the overall goal is to get to a point where students are intrinsically motivated because they like their tasks, the way their learning, and the course content.
It's invaluable to utilize key stakeholders for course improvements and closing the loop. The institution should also have accountability with the set standards for overall academic processes.
Meaningful feedback, presented in different mediums can enhance the learning experience for students.
When content is implemented and organized in a consistent way, it can allow for a successful student experience. Additionally, the use of chunking allows for a breakdown of digestible content for online learners.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
