In this lesson, I learned the importance for preparing for each lesson by having a detailed lesson plan, practicing prior, knowing the different delivery methods, and understanding the students learn in different ways.

In this lesson I learned the importance of setting expectations, introducing myself, and getting to know the students. I also understand the importance of ensuring the students come away from the first day of class with knowing how to proceed the rest of the course.

In this lesson I've learned the importance of creating Lesson plans, objectives, and clear goals to provide a carefully developed syllabus, and why this is important for the students. I haven't thought of the syllabus as being a legal document between students and instructor, but it's a good way to think about it. I also learned about reflecting upon myself, and trying to understand how the students will think of me.

In this lesson I learned the importance of self-development as an instructor, to try to be a model for the students, and the importance of motivating students and ways to do so.

In this lesson, I learned the importance of incorporating technology into the lesson plans, but also some of the pitfalls associated with incorporating it. I've also learned the importance of lecture notes, and ensuring I stay diligent with the notes to help improve the course(s) over time. It's also important to understand a clear outcome for the lessons in order to build the lesson plan properly.

In this lesson I learned the importance of writing precise objectives, which can resonate with students, and provide surety to what they should be learning. I also learned abut the importance of standards, which ensure students learn to the proper fidelity of of intended learning and/or performance, especially to learn to the level of outside entities' expectations with regards to licensing.

In this lesson I've learned the importance of creating lesson plans, and keeping regularly updated folders housing the plans. These have many benefits, which include keeping me organized, allowing potential inspectors to understand the standard to grade, and also to allow substitute teachers the ability to fill-in in case the primary instructor cannot.

In this lesson, I've learned the importance of proper time management, and ensuring that course content is regularly refreshed with new and relevant content. I've also learned the importance of understanding the knowledge levels of the students in order to find the balance of content to keep all students engaged as much as possible.

In this lesson I learned the different types of exams/ tests and the pros and cons of each. It's exciting to experiment with the different options for different courses.

In this lesson, I learned the different ways to structure course objectives, different ways students learn, and how to assess the learning progression of those students in comparison to the goals set forth in the objectives.
