Activity

After reviewing the quest content, I will be looking at in viewing the impact of discussion questions. I will be adding depth and information to the classes that I teach. Additionally, I will be looking for Interactive reinforcement material to present via announcement or weekly discussion. I will be providing additional materials based on what I see as the needs of the group as we develop the outcomes for a class. I will attempt to see what arrangements for a synchronous meeting for a classroom. These will be my initial steps before review and reassessment. 

 

When looking at the rhetorical element of audience what can we as writers do to impact and include audience memebrs? Does a review of the audience demographic help? Why or Why not?

While the level of course that I normally teach does not include quizzes although this used to be part of something called Toolwire., I find that asking questions and getting participation in the discussion area serves a similar function. For English 240 I do not have required testing. But there is always feedback and the stressing and discussion questions that this is leading to expectations and goals of a paper that we do.

To help us as educators we need to often look at the work of professionals recognized. The work of Ron Clark is the example I am looking at here in thin needs covered establish rapport with students and yet still have high expectations. To create a culture where this is a supportive yet expectation driven environment. One where they can gain assistance when needed. Here is a sample of a handout I use in ground classes to stress the variances of regular communication with academic tone!
