I learned that in projecting an authority relationship that I can showcase my expertise by sharing a short biography of myself that includes my professional expertise, credentials and achievements.  Also, a good way to begin to foster an environment filled with trust, respect and consideration is to have students to complete a short biography and share some parts of it with the permission of the student.  

I have learned that it is important to engaged the student in course activities because this assists in postivie retention levels.  It is important that instructors are oriented to the course management system so that they can assist students with orientation to the system or directing them for assistance.  This will help to eliminate frustration for the students when they are guided in the process.  

Also, I learned how important it is for instructorsto  familiar themselves with course delivery format
