I learned the difference between asynchronous and synchronous discussion in an online environment

It is very important to find ways to connect with the online learner and to allow for the on line learners to connect with each other 

It is important for the instructor to be familiar with the course content prior to the arrival of the class

I think videos are very helpful with online learning to engage students

it is important to build a connection with students, this will make you more relatable and retention will be higher. It is important to give nuggets of information rather than long lectures and be prepared

Its important to set the students up for success by making sure they are aware of what they will be taught and what is expected of them.

it is important to lead by example. I need to be a professional if I expect students to be professional. I also need to show that I love the subject that I am teaching if I want the students to fall in love with Respiratory
