Learning challenges need to be recognized and not mistakenly misinterpreted as a lack of understanding; instructors need to ensure they keep the needs of all students in mind.

Learning preferences also must be taken into consideration to again create the best learning environment for students regardless of how they best learn. 

This section helps to make the connection between language and learning; instructors must be able to recognize that students whose first language is not English have to be taken into consideration when making lessons plans and that their ability to understand the meaning of certain words.

I understand that race is a social construct, but culture helps us to actually understand each individual student needs. We must always create inclusive learning environments that are beneficial for all students.

This content is extremely valuable in terms of inclusivity of everyone and being sensitive to all learners needs and skill levels. I think too often, in education, those who have different learning styles are marginalized because they can't keep up with the group. Focusing on the individual allows all learners to be included in the learning process.
