I liked the reinforcement of connecting real-world scenarios with what students are learning because it will not only get them more engaged but also encourage more retention of what they are learning. 

I really like the idea of passing out note cards to students and having everyone write down their questions during, then collecting and reading at the end. I wish my instructors did that!

Welcoming students and setting that first impression is so important! Let them know who you are and that you're a person too

The ABCD parameters were something I learned that was new! And emphasizing the importance of collaborating with your fellow instructors can always be helpful

Remembering not to pretend that you're the smartest in the room because someone is always smarter!
