It is important to remain neutral and not judge the student if your intervention strategies are going to be well received.

There are many factors that contribute to attrition. Student percieved stressors are a major factor to them dropping out of school. 

Having the right people in the right roles can help identify students who are at risk of dropping or struggles so the appropriate intervention strategies can be put into place.
