I've learned what a flipped classroom environment is and how to implement it in reality. I'm not sure if I can actually do it, but it is definitely something I'm going to look at more and see if there are a few instances in which I can utilize this format.
I learned about different supporting material to utilize to better present information to the students. I also learned that using the latest technology can also help students learn the material better.

Learn about your students. Care about your students. Always be supportive and encouraging and acknowledge how well they are doing.
I learned the importance of getting to know the students, their backgrounds, and learning styles. It helps me to provide the type of assistance and instruction to keep them motivated and wanting to be successful in the class.
It's best to incorporate as many styles of learning as possible. Use technology and keep the students engaged with mini-lectures if possible.
It's important to do an ice breaker and get to know something about your students as well as letting them something about you. Also, to discuss the flow of class and term.
