As I have recently joined the QA unit in my institution, I now clearly understand now that the accreditation process in itself follows a PDCA cycle . Starting with applying the Standards, applying for reaffirmation and presenting the self-study, reaffirmation site visit (in my case as my institution is accredited), the review team's report, the institution's response and the loop is closed by the commission's letter of notification.
