i have learned that it is importent to familiarize yourself with each program that your institution may offer in order to successfully answer any and all questions a student may have about a program. 

i learned to be sure to understand all admission requirments and to keep a checklist so that i can be positive that the student has filled out everything needed and or what they are misssing in order to complete the process of enrollment.

I have learned that it is vital to be up to date with your admissions policies and procedures. in addition i have also learned that you should always keep a updated version of your institutions catalog for reasons such as being able to inform the potential students of the institutions history, all the institutions programs, the tuitions and expenses, the student services rules and regulations etc.
