Also to not assume you are the smartest person in the room. there probably is a student in the class who is smarter but you must show your passion about your subject to your students. 

Adding technology to the classroom will ensure students are able to enter the workforce without being behind current technology trends.

 Curriculum maps and planning gives the students a clear understanding as to what is expected

i plan to use a lot more formative assessments in my classes. students need time to practice new skills without worrying about a grade. 

I learned to coordinate standards, programs, objectives, instruction, and assessments within not only the broad course as a whole, but also each lesson.
