I find that clear, concise,and simple lesson plans with time lines are very beneficial for additioanl review and teaching.

Pre-testing and learning about students experiences are essential to developing revelent lesson plans that will keep the students stimulated and engaged in class room learning.

Adult learners will work well independently with minimal instruction, often are seen as class leaders, they responsibly attend class on a regular and consitant basis, and their security in the classroom is evident.

I have found that the increasing number of non-traditional students trying to prepare for second and third careers, have brought a wealth of experience, maturity, and self-directed learning to the classroom.
