The importance of writing your name and course name and number on the board so the students can determine if they are in the correct class. Also, take attendance, introduce yourself, and allow students time to introduce themselves.
It is important to have a checklist and to validate the links and assignment material.
If I got nothing else out of this module, I got the following:
Do not presume that you are the smartest in the class because you are the instructor, because there is a student who may be smarter.
Keeps you humble and student focused in my opinion.
