I learned that it is very important to have a system to keep all communication with students in a organized manner. And I learned that I need to Review my institution's code of conduct for online participation.
I learned the difference between the 2 types of delivering information online teaching (asynchronous and synchronous ) and the online discussions. I think the asynchronous discussion is more useful for large class due to the fact that everyone will get the time to participate.
I learned how important it is for an online instructor to come packaged with academic credentials, years of professional experience, and accomplishments. This package will allow the instructor to establish his authority and will influence the building of confidence and trust among students.
