Gloria whien teaching on line you will have possibly students with disabilities. it is important to be proactive in your planning. It is important tho make sure that all students are able to achieve ther means of siccess whaterver the diability may be.

Gloria this was my first time hearing about megerubric along with a student rubric. I found this unot to be very interesting.

I learned that Rubrics have many purposes and can be a positive for the student and help the student improve with their learning process. , the most important is that it should be learner centered.

 Enjoyed reading the information on building a rubric. It made me think of ways that I can incorporate this into my class as a scaffolding tool for my students. Itis important too see that that their work as a learning tool and not just another grade

I like using a rubric for projects due to the concisenees of letting the student know what is expected for a project or presentation. This asy there is no misunderstanding when the grade is presented. I have found that it does need to be specific and not long an detailed.

One of the important factors is being able to communicate well with the students what your objective with each assignment, making sure the student understands. Make sure they understand what you are wexpecting from them in their assignments on the specific topic. Allow time after class for students ask questions and if you know a student is uncomfoprtable to ask a question in front of the class set a time you can speak on-on-one. 

There are many different tools that are available to online students  compared to a regular classroom setting. One of the tools I like to use for my students are the virtual field trips that are available. I have found that they make great discussion questions for the students. THe ones I use are those that pertain to the topic matter we are studdying.

Students need to be instructer that communication should be apporpriate and restful to alll of their peers along with the instructor. Communication is very important when online.  

Through experience I have learned that not all students learn very well when online. Time managemnt is somthing that students need to have in order to be successful. I see my students struggle. It is important for me be creative, reinforce time management

Value assessments can measure a students growth compared to where they started.  

Rubrics are useful tool in preparing the students for an assignment as well as evaluating their performance.
