Maintaining an up to date resource book in addition to asking organizational leadership at your institution for additional resources are key to staying on top of compliance. Staying compliance is a requirement but it also will allow you to communicate vital information to your prospective students for the best possible outcomes as you guide them to full enrollment.

I learned that it is best practice to gain experience in something that you are doing. The example of a person going to massage school having opted to take a massage to have a deeper knowledge of the experience when going into their chosen field was eye opening. This has motivated me to want to see if I can shadow any classes to get a more comprehensive understanding of how they are run so that I can discuss these aspects, in earnest, with prospective students.

I learned the importance of informing the student of their rights and responsibilities. 

I learned that it's important to not only stay compliant but keep up to date with information outside of this training. This will keep us in the loop with the latest changes.
