This module has taught me that motivating students requires maintaining their interest, showing them the relevance of the content being shown in class (linking the content to real-life situations in their field), and helping boost their confidence. 

This module has reinforced the importance of active listening, personalized support, and creating an inclusive environment to students. It is important to understand the students goals in order to provide the necessary guidance to help them navigate their academic journey.  

This module has helped me understand strong strategies for improving student retention, such as proactive outreach, personalized support, and fostering a sense of community. 

With this module, I have gained a deeper understanding of the diverse characteristics that influence student learning. Recognizing these differences allows me to adapt my approach when advising and supporting students, ensuring that I provide appropriate guidance and communication that aligns with their needs.
