I came across some excellent tips for classroom management and ways to support our students. I also saw some great ideas on organization for the instructor.  

This module reminds us that discussions can be the heart of the class and learning but only if they are monitored and supported properly.

I have taught online for a while now, so combining my experience and the knowledge I gained in this module, my biggest takeaway is creating space for students to actively engage in the class and with their classmates and to be approachable. Students need to be comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and sharing their ideas.

I learned the primary expectations of the instructor and what we need to know to prepare for each course. I also learned about the platform's features that instructors are expected to master.
