I was taught the importance of making sure I have the right and updated information especially regarding transfer policies and new trainings and meetings for agents and admission reps. It's also important to keep a reference/resource notebook and hold all important documents and checklists for future reference.

In this module, I learned that it is important to maintain records of legal documents, catalogs, ads, and other informative bodies of work in relation to the institution in order to better educate our prospective students. Also learned how important it is to get a first-hand experience on how the classes and programs are to give students a better understanding of what they're getting into. Admission Reps need to be vigilant towards any information and/or changes made to the institution so that the prospective student and the reps are on the same page!

In this module, I was able to understand the importance of certain statutes and the enrollment agreement of my institution. It's of high importance to know as much as possible to be able to better assist and guide a prospective student. :)

This training has shown me that admissions employees can only work for a licensed institution and an agents license is only effective for one year and is nontransferable, so each agent must renew their licenses every year. The training has also given me better insight into what I should expect coming into this role! :)
